Case studies
These weren't just books. They became business assets.
A book can sell copies. But for the entrepreneurs, experts, and authors we work with, the finished book is often just the beginning. It becomes the workbook used in paid trainings. The tool that helps close bulk opportunities. The asset that strengthens a national platform. The publishing brand a family builds together. The product line behind an ecommerce business.
Here is what that looks like in real projects.
Featured case
Lamar Tyler
Founder, Tyler New Media · Traffic Sales & Profit · 4x Inc. 5000 · Black Enterprise 2023 Disruptor of the Year
The opportunity
Lamar Tyler had spent years helping Black entrepreneurs grow real companies, and developed a clear methodology along the way. The framework deserved a stronger form than slides and sessions. It deserved to become intellectual property he could publish, teach, and build around.
What we built
We took his manuscript and produced The Hidden Revenue Formula, developing custom graphics to bring the frameworks to life on the page. Then we designed its official companion workbook, turning the methodology into something readers could actually implement.
What it became
Lamar launched the book from the Traffic Sales & Profit stage, and today uses the workbook to teach paid workshops. The book did not stop at publication. It became curriculum.

Dr. Erica Jordan-Thomas
Founder, 7-Figure Educator · Harvard-trained former principal · USA Today Bestseller
The opportunity
Dr. Erica Jordan-Thomas built a company that has helped thousands of educators turn their expertise into consulting businesses. Her book, 7-Figure Educator, became a USA Today bestseller. But a book delivers ideas. Her readers needed somewhere to implement them.
What we built
Her team came to us to develop the official companion workbook, translating the book's methodology into exercises, prompts, and implementation structure her audience could actually work through.
What it became
The bestselling book now has an implementation layer, and her methodology exists as a more complete intellectual-property ecosystem: the ideas, and the tool that puts them to work.

Ashley N. Kirkwood
Attorney · National Speaker · 4x Inc. 5000 Founder, Speak Your Way to Cash
The opportunity
Ashley Kirkwood left a $300,000+ legal career and built a company teaching experts how to land corporate speaking contracts. Her methodology lived in her books, Speak Your Way to Cash and Millions From the Stage. Books teach. Her audience needed to implement.
What we built
We created the official companion workbooks for both books, turning her frameworks into structured implementation tools her readers, students, and event audiences could work through.
What it became
One methodology, expressed across an expanding product ecosystem, and when the second book arrived, she came back. The strongest endorsement a publishing partner can receive is a repeat client.
One methodology. Two workbooks. One repeat client.

Coach Cass
Certified Matchmaker · Love Coach · TEDx Speaker
The opportunity
Coach Cass had carried a book dream for more than a decade. The expertise was never missing. It was scattered across her signature course, her coaching, and years of teaching.
What we built
We found the book inside the course and turned it into WANTED Woman: The Busy Woman's Guide to Attracting and Choosing a Love That Lasts, with a foreword by matchmaker and television personality Paul C. Brunson.
What it became
The book launched to bestseller status and now travels alongside her TEDx speaking and media features in Forbes, Cosmopolitan, Essence, and on the Tamron Hall Show.
Course → Authority Book → Brand Asset
Shayla McGhee
Children's Author · Creator of the Payton Series
The opportunity
Shayla created Payton Goes to Paris with her daughter, Payton. The concept had expansion built in: a child, travel, a new destination, a new adventure.
What we built
Through coaching and publishing support, the single title grew into a series, with Payton Goes to London and brand extensions built around the character's world.
What it became
A recognizable children's publishing brand, and a Travel Noire feature for Shayla and Payton. The first book was never just one story. It was Book One.

Plant Based Jeff
Plant-Based Coach · Ecommerce Business Owner
The opportunity
Jeff could have published one book about plant-based living and stopped. But his customers needed more than an argument. They needed to know how, what to eat, and how to plan it.
What we built
A four-product bundle: his authority book How To Go Plant-Based, two recipe books, and a 90-day meal planner. One expert, one audience, one central outcome, four products.
What it became
A publishing product line he now sells directly alongside his existing ecommerce business. The product line follows the customer.
Expertise → Book → Product Line
The pattern
Notice what these projects have in common.
None of these clients published a book just to say they had one.
The book carried a methodology. Extended a brand. Became curriculum. Anchored a product line. Completed an ecosystem. Opened the next room.
That is the difference between publishing a book and building a publishing asset. We measure our work by what happens after publication.
Your turn
Your project does not need to look like theirs. It needs to work like yours.
Maybe your book should become a workbook. Maybe your course contains an authority book. Maybe your children's story is secretly Book One. Or maybe you simply have a manuscript that deserves professional publishing. You do not need to arrive with a famous platform. You need something worth publishing.
